東京に、巨木が生まれるための、聖地のような墓があってもいいのではないか、そういうアイデアを発表した。都市の中では木は排除されるか添え物でしかない、アートとしての庭を作りたい、そのような思いが当時の私に有った。メタ東京プロジェクトは、リアルではない、しかし自由なインターネット空間での展示。アートだけではなく、環境や建築を含めた横断的な組織とメンバーによって構想、運営された。
I presented the idea that it would be nice to have a graveyard like a sacred place in Tokyo for the birth of a giant tree. At that time, I had a desire to create a garden as an art because trees are either eliminated or used as an accessory in the city. The Meta-Tokyo Project is an exhibition in a free Internet space that is not real. It was conceived and operated by a cross-sectional organization and members that include not only art, but also environment and architecture.
