堆肥を作り、袋に詰めたものを熟成させる「コンポスト・ハウス」。農協婦人部の皆様を中心に、延べ100人からの地元の協力者と共に制作、展示された。会期終了後、協力頂いた方々に配付し、家庭菜園などに利用された。関谷 安則氏、及び農協夫人部の方々に感謝。

Having gained the help from over 100 local people, started making compost, stuffed them in colorful bags together, and ripen them in this house during the triennial duration.
After the duration, the bags were distributed to the people who helped and they will be utilized for their field and house garden.

「旅人の迷路」（2003年度実現）は、この時からスタートする予定だったが、候補地は植生には向かなかった。急遽、計画を変更し、コンポスト・ハウスは制作された。
